Leslie's new house .... WAH!!!
well, hasn't it got my name written all over it.
I really don't know why I do this to myself, you know. I mean, really, say we get transferred there and then say my husband agrees witha bit of commute and purchasing a 140 year old home...
Is it really still gonna be there when we get there?
why do I punish myself in this way?
*sigh*
It even has a tree, Phil... actually it has all kinds.

Random thoughts...
You know those books you can get that recommend where to eat in Canada, Ottawa, Eastern Canada... what to see in Brussels...
I think they should have a cross-country public washroom book rating different places to see to the call of nature... you know "the food is great in this restaurant but the bathroom is gloomy, in dire need of renovation and when you sit down to pee the toilet in the third stall cants sideways left a bit...
yeah. I DO think about this stuff.
I went to the grocery store the other day and I must have been the definition of frazzled because this poor little old and sickly lady was insisting that I needed someone to help me with my load of food stuff... Gosh, am I that obvious. Probably.

*chirp*
We have a cricket living between us and the next door neighbours...
I don't ever remember hearing a cricket chirping here, in the suburban sprawl, since we moved in two years ago.
For the past little while I sit in my living room knitting, watching tv - whatever and listen.
The lone cricket.
It's funny but his song seems to be more beautiful in the sea of manicured lawns and concrete sidewalks than a whole chorus of the wee guys in the countryside.
I think Someone knew I needed to hear him for my transition from my summer vacation in NB back to the reality of "Big City Life".
Sometimes I think I'm not listening hard enough or not looking hard enough for the things that I miss. A quiet moment, a starry sky, the sound of the rain... I think I'll try harder and stop complaining about the city...
Even though,
Please stay little cricket.
