This is one of my FAVORITE things I have ever made. I got the pattern from the popular "Stitch and Bitch" knitting book. I made the hat and designed mitts and a scarf to match. the scarf has dangling pomspoms and knit hearts on the end and the mitts had a heart sewn on the tops but they are long gone. Frozen in a snowbank somewhere or in the great lost and found box in the beyond.
