I made this sweater in the spring of 2003 - it was one of the first big projects I did all on my own without the help of my knitting teacher. Lesson though - if you are going to invest your time, energy and patience in making a sweater, invest in half decent wool. Not with the cheap stuff that's not going to stand up well with use. This sweater is all pilled and thinning... nice, eh?
